Lenovo Ideapad A10 For a price tag of Rs.19,990

What should your second laptop be, the one you use for portable computing? So far, the options seemed limited to Windows netbooks and the new line of Google’s Chromebooks. But Lenovo has a new contender in mind: the Android-toting Ideapad A10.

Specs: 10.1″ IPS touchscreen (1366×768 px resolution) | 1.6GHz quad-core Rockchip RK3188 Cortex-A9 processor | 1GB RAM | 16GB internal memory, microSD up to 64GB | VGA webcam | mini-HDMI, 2xUSB 3.0, microUSB ports | Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 | 4400mAh battery | Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Lenovo Customization

Price: Rs 19,990

Design: The Ideapad A10 is a budget laptop and feels like one. The hinge is a little too tough, the plastic body recesses inside when you press it hard, and it’s overall chunky. That said, it’s definitely light and easy to carry around. One aspect that I really liked is that it uses a standard microUSB port to charge instead of a laptop adapter, which means you can use almost any mobi
le charger to juice up. Plus, there’s a mini-HDMI out and two standard USB ports for further connectivity

Performance: Android isn’t a great laptop OS, but in regular usage, you won’t find it lacking in performance. Whether you are browsing the Web or writing a quick proposal in a document, the A10 performs admirably. The only time it starts stuttering is when you ask it to multi-task extensively. Switch on a music player, fire up a browser, and try talking on a chat program at the same time—with frequent back-and-forth between the apps, the A10 will start lagging.

Connectivity: The Ideapad A10 worked with Wi-Fi perfectly well, but we didn’t have the same

Samsung Finally Launches The Samsung ATIV Odyssey bound for Verizon|Specification,Features

Overview

Samsung Finally Launches The Samsung ATIV Odyssey bound for Verizon.Peoples were waiting for this model since for long time  but at the time of its announcement we were told that we could expect it in December. The month came and went, and today we were informed that the new smartphone is now going to be hitting the market in "the coming weeks." Fortunately we finally got some face time with the phone tonight, and it's about as forgettable as we expected.

This Phone features brilliant including 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 4-inch WVGA display, dual-band Wifi a/b/g/n, 8GB internal storage, a 5MP rear camera and 1.2MP front-facing cam. It also sports a removable 2,100mAh battery and microSD slot capable of supporting cards up to 64GB.To be quite honest, the screen was nothing to write home about (though that’s really nothing for a device of this caliber) — it’s a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED panel, the likes of which you’ve seen many times before.

Specifications Verizon’s Elusive Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone:

Since we dont know exect specs of The Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone but we willtell you main feature of this phone. This phone includes 1.5GHz dual core S4 processor 1GB RAM,2100 mAh Battery 8MP Or 5MP rear camera its not clarify,4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED panel.

Our thoughts? For anyone accustomed to larger devices, the first thing you'll notice is how tiny it looks and feels. It's definitely on the light side, and our hands wrapped around the phone quite easily. This gives it a little much-needed grip since the hyperglazed, semi-glossy back is completely smooth. (It can also easily attract fingerprints.) The camera and LED flash are side-by-side, with the large Verizon logo directly below. Near the bottom you'll see the ATIV-style grille (similar to what we saw on the ATIV S), with a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, micro-USB on bottom, power and hardware shutter buttons on right and volume rocker and microSD slot on the left.

Design

When it comes to design, the Odyssey won’t come as a shock to anyone who’s manhandled any other mid-range Samsung phone in recent years (oh, and that leak from late last year was dead on). It strikes a fine balance between the round, rather bulky body of Nokia’s Lumia 920, but isn’t quite as slim or as nicely tapered as HTC’s Windows Phone 8X. In many ways it’s a typical Samsung device — lightweight and plasticky, but with a surprisingly sturdy feel. Perhaps the most surprising thing about the Odyssey’s physical design is just how small it feels in your hand; it’s only been a year or two since 4-inch smartphones were the pinnacles of product design.

All things considered, the ATIV Odyssey seems like a neat (if somewhat underwhelming) Windows Phone. Verizon may have a winner on its proverbial hands if they price the thing aggressively enough, but it’s not hard to see how a device like this could easily be overshadowed by more able hardware

While we wait for the phone to hit shelves in the near future, head below to sneak a peek at some photos of the Odyssey.

GOOGLE WILL HOST GREAT SHOPPING FESTIVAL ON 12TH DECEMBER 2012

I have always wondered why online retailers in India do not have something that is similar to “Cyber Monday” discount sales. In the U.S, online retail giants offer special discounts on the Monday that follows the “Thanksgiving weekend”. India does not really have anything similar for its online shoppers.

That is hopefully about to change with Google joining hands with the largest e-commerce portals in India to roll out a single day discount event.

It is dubbed the Great Online Shopping Festival and has popular online retailers like Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong, HomeShop 18, snapdeal, Big Rock, Yebhi and many more are involved.

Great Online Shopping Festival
Why are “Shopping Festivals” important in the online world?

Why physical retailers have their shopping festivals coinciding with festival holidays like Diwali and Christmas. Online shopping festivals with attractive discounts act try to replicate the sort of heavy shopping activity. Even though India has over 120 million internet users, buying things online has not really caught on as much as it has in other countries.

Maybe such coordinated efforts would give it the right amount of boost for online shopping to really take off in a big way in India.

Do visit GOSF website and let me know your views on discount sale festival in your comments.

Top Rated And Best Android Apps...|Reviews

Top 10 Apps...

Best Apps for Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows Phone platform. Click on each of the Top 10 Apps winners to read detailed reviews

The Android Market may not have as many apps as the iPhone App Store yet, but there are still enough to be overwhelmed, and it’s growing at a breakneck pace. To help you sort through them all, here’s my list of the best apps I’ve found on Android. Again, remember that this is a snapshot in time. The Android platform is developing so quickly right now that I guarantee my home screen look different a month from now

1.Utilities Apps

Dolphin Browser (Free)

When it comes to speed, Dolphin is comparable to Chrome. The popular Dolphin Browser has just been updated and it offers Sonar, Gesture, and Add-on support. Sonar enables you to search, share, bookmark, and navigate with voice commands. You can create gestures to access specific websites and there are 60 add-ons to choose from. It’s a solid browser with a lot to offer

                            Best Apps Market (Free)

Need a fast and reliable app discovery tool? Best Apps Market is free and it features hand-picked lists and tools to organize your downloads. You’ll find independent reviews, money saving options, and easy to use filters. The Game Genome Project is set to roll into the app soon and it offers you a way to search for apps using a wide variety of filters so you can find your perfect game.

Widgetsoid allows you to create your own widgets for various phone functions. You can create a widget that will allow you to toggle your 4G antenna on and off, or create your own clock widget that can display whatever phone information you want, from battery charge to phone temperature. It’s pretty useful. There is a free and a paid version, which has some added functionality.

Created by doctors, this app is designed to give users quick and easy access to medical info as well as nearby treatment facilities. With just a few clicks, users can find the nearest medical facility based on need (emergency, urgent care, pharmacy, etc.) and quickly use built-in Google Maps to navigate to the destination. The app also features a symptom-checker, doctor directory, and information about diseases and procedures.

            ♦ Chrome Beta (Free)

The default Android Web browser is fine, but if you’re on an Android 4.0 phone (or tablet), you can now download a fully operational version of Google Chrome. Simply put, it’s the best mobile browser we’ve used, with robust tab management, private browsing, and the ability to sync your tabs from your browser with your phone.

 2.Fun Apps

Xbox SmartGlass (Free)

Calling all Xbox 360 owners — this app gives you direct control over your console from your Android smartphone. You can select content, type through your phone, and browse the web. It also allows you to use your phone as a full remote control for playing music or movies. A small selection of content offers a second screen experience so you can interact through your phone and Microsoft expects that side of it to grow as more entertainment makers see the potential.

Flipboard (Free)

Flipboard is one of our favorite iPad apps and has spawned a number of copycats. The basic idea here is to create a magazine-like news experience by aggregating links from your Facebook friends, the people you follow on Twitter, interests you may have (like technology), and other favorite sites, and displaying them in a fun layout where you can flip through pages of new content anytime you want. The Android app has you swipe upward to flip through pages, but the concept translates pretty well to the small screen. Check it out. It’s free.

                            Instagram (Free)

If you’ve been on Facebook for the last year, you’ve likely seen a ton of retro-looking photos. Either they look faded out, or have any number of other effects on them. This is Instagram and iPhone users have had exclusive rights to it for quite some time. But that has changed. Instagram is now available on Android and its already one of the best looking Android apps. But hey, if you don’t download it no one is going to lose any sleep. Facebook recently bought Instagram for $1 billion.

Google Sky Map (Free)

This app from Google is frankly just really awesome. Using GPS, turn the app on while you are looking at the night sky and it will literally show you what to look for. The app depicts stars, constellations, and planets as you would see them looking directly at the night sky. Wonder what constellation those three bright stars are part of? Point your Android device in that direction and Google Sky Map will give you an answer.

]
                           ♦Pinterest (Free)

If you’re part of the Pinterest brigade or you’re just curious about the craze for creating pinboards, then you should check out the Android Pinterest app. It allows you to create your own visual concept boards to gather your thoughts and plans on various topics and share them with the world. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, you can browse the creations of others, or you can use the app to organize your own finds from the web.

                             Flixster (Free)

This simple app is a must for movie lovers, offering a clean user interface and accurate movie listings at nearby theaters, based on your current location, of course. Perhaps the best feature of this app is its integration with online movie critic Mecca Rotten Tomatoes. Users can browse what’s out in theaters, or what’s playing nearby and access the RT reviews in just one click.

                            Layar (Free)

Augmented reality hasn’t yet graduated to the point where we’re ready to call it downright useful, but there’s no denying the fun to be had with playing Geordi La Forge from Star Trek with Layar. It layers information in real time over images captured by your phone’s camera, like historical pictures of the city you’re in, nearby landmarks, and superimposed future buildings.

Facebook New IOS Application Photo snyc To automaticly Upload Photos For Future sharing

Facebook has started rolling out a Photo Sync feature for iOS users that uploads photos from the phone’s photo album directly to a private Facebook album. Users can see the synced photos album on Facebook later and select the ones they want to make public later. The feature can be activated from the photos menu on the Facebook for iOS app by clicking on the synced photos menu. Users get 2GB of storage space for photos. Photo Sync is already available on Android.

Users can choose to sync photos over Wi-Fi and cellular, Wi-Fi only or turn off sync all together. Over a cellular network, Facebook will shrink the photos to 100KB size and the upload the smaller version to save on data transfer costs. Photo Sync is currently under testing mode and might not be available to all users.

We find the feature quite useful, especially while traveling or attending a party or an event. Rather than individually adding photographs, it makes it simpler by uploading all photos in the background and the user can later select which ones to make public.

Having said that, there are already many auto-sync apps available for iOS for keeping a backup copy online and enabling share as well. Apple itself has a photo streaming feature in iOS and Dropbox too can backup photos automatically.

The dual SIM smart phone in the market is certainly everyone is looking ahead, thanks to Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite S5302 which are launched recently. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite – Rs 6,990
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos – Rs 8400
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos is successful model and its still priced at Rs 8400 in the India market. The lite variant of this device is priced at Rs 6990 which is like Rs 1400 saving from that of the original variant. Hello
