The device is a smartphone that launched back in October featuring dual-SIM capability and a 1 GHz dual-core processor. The phone also has an eight-megapixel rear camera and a VGA resolution front camera.

The manufacturer isn’t offering the Android update as an over the air update most of us are used to seeing. Rather, people who own the device will have to take it into a service center where the update will be applied for them by a service associate. The good news is the update will be free of charge.

Other hardware features for the device include a 2000 mAh battery with up to five hours of talk time, Wi-Fi, 3G capability, Bluetooth, and GPS. The manufacturer of the device has announced that a Jelly Bean update for the phablet is now available. However, there is one caveat.

6. 8 megapixels camera
7. 2 megapixels secondary camera
8. lithium ion battery of 2,000 mAh

Design Of Micromax Canvas 2 HD A116

The company has done well so far with their previous Phablet venture giving consumers a taste of high profile features like Samsung Galaxy Note series but for a lower price. Micromax Canvas HD A116 has a 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, which officially puts it in the Phablet category. The screen gives a healthy pixel density of 294ppi, which is equivalent to what the Samsung Galaxy Note has to offer. The device comes with a Dual SIM facility with, which it really gets an edge over its competitors in the same department. Its Quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor along with 1GB RAM makes the device speedy and smooth while the Android Jelly Bean operating system puts the icing on the cake.

Camera And Connectivity:

The 8 megapixels camera is pretty much on the same lines in terms of performance as compared to A110 and does not have a BSI sensor. The camera could have been a little better in terms of performance but in case it still works well and produces decent results. A secondary VGA camera for video calling is also facilitated. An internal memory of 4GB is provided, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card slot.

Micromax Canvas HD A116 has the Wi-Fi facility along with the Wi-Fi hot spot feature that gives the user access to the web for visiting web sites or downloading data. There is also the Bluetooth facility that makes sure that the user can connect with other device and exchange data with it where the data exchanged may include music files, games, images and videos. There is also a USB port that allows similar data exchange but through USB cables and with computers and laptops. The GPRS facility allows the user to navigate to the desired locations.

Battery Backup

Micromax Canvas HD A116 is backed by the standard lithium ion battery of 2,100 mAh that gives the user a substantial amount of time to operate on the device. Since thus is a high profile device, a little more power back up would not have hurt them as the device by the virtue of its quad-core processor is bound to consume more energy.

Comparision With Samsung Galaxy Note 2:

Micromax Canvas HD A116 when compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a smaller screen with the former featuring a 5 inch display whereas the latter has a 5.5 inch display. In terms of battery strength too, Micromax Canvas HD A116 falls short of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with the former being powered by a 2,100 mAh and the latter a whopping 3,100 mAh.

Micromax Canvas 2 A110 Price In Indis Is Little Expensive But The Fetures You Are Getting Along With This Set Makes It Perfect Superfone Its Price Is==> Rs.9999 Approx(different prices in different states)

Features Of Micromax A110 Canvas 2:

• Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS
• 2000 mAh battery(2 Days Backup)
• 5-inch LCD Capacitive Touchscreen
• Dual SIM (GSM + GSM)
• 8 MP Primary Camera
• 1 GHz Dual Core Processor
• 512 MB Ram
• Expandable Storage Capacity of 32 GB

Design

A110 Consist Of  480*854 Screen Resoltuion(Very Good Resolutions)The phone is essentially a spinoff of the Galaxy S3 when it comes to build and design. Its Display Is perfect (9Vivid Display, AGC Sodaline Screen Protection, IPS Display, 5 Point Multi-touch, Touch Sensitive Controls)

Hardware

The Micromax A110 Canvas 2 features a 1 GHz Dual core Mediatek Processor, 512 MB of RAM and an 8MP camera. It also has 3 GB + storage on the inside along with a 5 inch FWVGA screen.

The processor may be dual core and may be clocked at 1GHz, But people really need to understand that sheer numbers do not mean anything. The dual core processor on the A110 is quite incapable, in-fact is much lower compared to some single core ones out there. But that being said, the Micromax A110 Canvas 2 also costs less than Rs. 10,000 to buy. The RAM in the Canvas 2 is just short of do-able because it allows you to get things done, but diminishes when real RAM intensive work needs to get done

Display , Camera & Multimedia

Talking About The Display This Superfone Is incredibly solding for its display, micromax would be proud of its display screen, this phone is giving tough fight to s3 and htc smartphones. You Can experience the world in the video quality.Basic usage is not deterred with this, but may lead to disappointment while playing certain games.

Camera:8 megapixel camera at back and 0.3 megapixel camera in front which is best for clicking pics and video calls. The tap to focus works great and the phone now has dual panorama mode.

Multimedia:Multimedia Works Great watch movies or videos almost seamlessly on this phone. The Micromax A110 canvas 2 plays back full hd and allows you to scrub through video files while they play. You will also be easily able to stream content from the internet and appreciate qualities of a smartphone on this phone. The Audio may leave something to be desired as its simply not loud enough. The included earphones, are nothing but ordinary, and you would love to upgrade to decent quality ones. The inbuilt speaker is barely decent for watching video, so forget enjoying loud music and loudspeaker calls

Battery

Talking About The Best Features of micromax a110,now the time for its stamina that is its battery backup. The phone is also a battery hog, and really quickly runs out of juice if you are up there on the usage scale. With whatever gaming you can do, videos, internet, Facebook and Twitter my phone needed a charge every 14 hours or so. The phone also takes up to 4 hours to fully charge which is really slow, however using a higher watt charger, like the iPad’s charger can reduce this time to half (yes not everyone has an iPad, but the charger can be bought separately if needed).

Memory And Storage

This Phone Comes with 2GB internal memory and you can expand it upto 32 GB.its memory is not so much but its good in this price . this phone contain 512 MB RAM

Disadvantages of Micromax A110 Canvas 2

Many Peoples In Google may search for cons or disadvantage of a110.Here it is.
Well, in the list of disadvantages there is not too much to figure out. Yes, RAM is less, multitasking is not as fast you can expect. But you can run many HD games in it. Thanks to the dual core processor and PowerVR SGX531T GPU. Bigger display is advantageous when you play games or watch movies in it. Web browsing is a treat. But the bigger dimension is disadvantageous when you carry it or try to hold in one hand. This completely depends on the way you think about it. In day light shooting is impressive but in low light camera is a big disappointment. Though the camera is aided by dual LED flash this is not the powerful one out there in market. I agree, it’s a low cost handset. You have to compromise to some extent.

Micromax A110 Canvas 2 Price & Availability

Reviews to Ninja 3 A57'

Front screen is simple and sober.. Though Micromax logo is missing on the front.(anyway nobody cares about that)
2.2k color issue is something wrong with the specs print...The wallpaper colors are fully satisfying.
Sound quality is okay.. headphone given is fragile and too lengthy.
3MP camera pictures do not please me, if I look back at 2MP camera pics from other phones. Though video is good. I wish flash would have been a better addition than 4x zoom.
Though it has 1GHz processor but found that it hanged once in last 24 hour. Watching video on Youtube got some problem in the first use... but it worked well afterwards (Thank God)
Battery back up is good.
Extra back cover is of yellow color, didn't like at all. Girls might like that one. :p
Finally would say that it is a value for money phone. You can't get better than this below 5k in today's date.\
